Sweet home California Sunnyvale! Haven't been home since I graduated, and haven't posted here since... the night I ordered 6 inch rainbow cork platform sandals. Oopsie. Lots has happened since then so anticipate a few retrospective blog posts documenting my wanderings and great adventures since 8 months ago - they'll be dated as if they were posted day of in case you're all wondering. Realized that I have a few days left to be sane (ie. I'm surprisingly bored by the lack of work I have...) and then I'll be trudging back to 100 hour work weeks (which I'm looking forward to...??) Slightly ridiculous but I think that's how I feel about this whole real world thing / being a real person / college student no mo'.

rainbow platform cork slingbacks
Oh my god. Rainbow platform cork slingbacks, how can I not. So incredibly tacky yet... swoon. Something about the combination of an angled slanted heel, a bold striped rainbow pattern, and the summer ready peep-toe stacked onto a glorious two inches of cork platform for a wearable 6 inch heel just makes this completely irresistible disregarding the complete impracticality of this purchase. Oops...just ordered.

P.S. Run-on galore... enjoy.

St. Patty's Day Green

top - Amarcord vintage | skirt - folded over bandage dress | shoes - payless diy | jacket - thrifted | bag - simply vera
Took out my favorite pieces and some green floral for St. Patrick's day, remixed the look by putting on some wedges despite the slightly chilly weather. I still LOVE the way the back of the shoe is lined with the gold studs it just elongates everything... way back when I was artsy fartsy. Good ol' days. Instead of getting sloshed at 11am in the morning, I headed over to IKEA to pick up a garment rack so here's a glorious shot of me on the water taxi. Whee!

starry nights
top & leggings: forever 21 | platform wedges: dolce & gabbana (thanks risi <3) | yankee candles
When it's all rainy and icky out I play dress up... pretty standard for a girl. My semi sheer f21 top/lingerie/god knows what it is finally came and I'm obsessed! It's the lightest thing ever (warning - not weather friendly) but sooo comfy so as long as you're inside, you're fine. Perfectly happy-dream-inducing and cozy up before bedtime with a candle with your go-to reading material (homework much?) for, hem, "relaxation time" (senior year of college is NOT that easy... ha).
Missing the blogosphere quite a bit. Bah. At least it's Fashion Week in NYC!

the beauties of photoshop

Glitter pumps - Candie's | One shoulder asymmetrical dress by Catharine Malandrino
Sorority formals = excuses to get dolled up, so what's not to like? The only thing about this one was that I literally had class until 8:30pm not to mention a lab report that I had to re-do because it went mia from my documents 2 hours before it was due; good stuff. Anyway I had to miss pre-formsies dindin but more importantly, missed the photos (duh)... so me and my friend decided to do a great crop and paste job on this, second photo above. I'm pretty impressed myself, looks like I was right there with her minus my left arm, whoo!
