clowning in color

top - thrifted | skirt - intermix | boots - wellies

Say hello to my thrifted rainbow clown shirt. It's semi sheer, has ruched shoulder accents (hence making me look like a really ripped swimmer with wide shoulders whoo), and banded trimming at the ends of the sleeves/bottom of the shirt. There's also strangely placed buttons on one side of the top... I'm kind of obsessed with how misplaced and awkward the whole thing is.

On another note, I got to see the Nanette Lepore SS12 show! Check out my very jumbled/wordy/terrible post here - you can skip my terribly written editorial review and just check out the photos!

sheer moments

top - nine west | ring - f21

Who knew that Nine West sold clothes? Not me. Anyway simple outfit with a bit of blingtasticness to it (I know, so tacky but I love the feeling of this bendable knuckle ring. It's as if it's molded to my finger perfectly... anyway). Abandoned the blog, yet again, whilst I escaped the city by flying home for a solid two and a half weeks and soaked up Sunnyvale sun. Oh those days.... all moved in now, back in the same dorm, and senior year is off to a slowww start (still in denial of how... unpredictable...NY weather is. Bleargh.)

To Ponder

"Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening." - Coco Chanel
